catsmeow says,

Will I be the only one this reduces to tears?

coccinelle says,

I have been through this and understand your feelings...you are not alone...

RainhaMom says,

Cats--I'll take that as a compliment. But I really didn't intend to pull a nicholas sparks on you and set you up to cry, ( I hate The Notebook).
fam--yep, that's what my sister and I discovered when we first lost our mom...that we had entered a club that most everyone would belong to someday. But until you join the club, you have no idea how it feels. Right? And then, when Dad died and we became "adult orphans", that was a new club too.

Bevvie says,

My siblings and I are now adult orphans, so we are members of a new club too. Wish I could cancel the membership!
