I wrote this more as an ironic finger-shaking at myself. I haven't had much contact with Dad lately. In fact, I went nearly 8 years completely out of contact with him for personal reasons that are too boring to explain here. We're back in touch and it's better than it was. Still, I don't talk to him enough.
