About me

If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
Women. Ferchrissakes, what is it with these people?

Besides SMITH, I read stories at:
Oh, jeezus, pretty much everywhere. But more from books than from the web.

In bed I like to read:
Novels. Short story collections. The occasional memoir or history book. I do my big reading in bed and save the light reading for the gym and lit mags for the bathroom.

My favorite story of all time is:
Salinger, "A Perfect Day For Bananafish". Heller, "Catch-22". Maistros, "The Sound of Building Coffins".

Right now, I'm reading:
Eugenides, "Middlesex". "Sun, Stone, and Shadows 20 Great Mexican Short Stories" (anthology). Welsh, "Trainspotting". Some day I will learn to read one book at a time.
