About me
If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
Others not understanding some simple thing that I'm trying to say
Besides SMITH, I read stories at:
Slate, Huffington Post, The New Yorker, Harper's
In bed I like to read:
fiction, ususally modern. Prefer a fast-moving, captivating story with compelling characters (who doesn't?). Just finished City of Thieves by Davis Benioff - a perfect book.
My favorite story of all time is:
my mom's tale of her teenage self meeting my dad. At a rented house on a lake with scores of 18-year-olds in early 1950's. Compelling characters, fascinating coincidences, drinks, and blissful ending.
Right now, I'm reading:
The Liars' Club by Mary Karr. Good fun.
