About me

If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
How frequently life could break bad, but rarely does. I plunge into dangerous waters, often with people or in situations I don't know and, by the skin of my teeth, I escape, and always with surprising gift or a new friend.

Besides SMITH, I read stories at:
Popmatters, TravelersTales

In bed I like to read:
The New Yorker, Funny Times

My favorite story of all time is:
nearly impossible question... "Seize the Day" Saul Bellow

Right now, I'm reading:
"The Gift" by Lewis Hyde

"Moms" is from my memoir "A Rust Belt Boyhood"
