About Penelope Whitney

If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?

I grew up in a small redneck town always aching to leave, and once I could I haven't stopped moving. The impulse has taken me to farflung spots (partial list: Detroit, Auckland, Berlin, Montana, NYC) , where I wonder, 'how did I get here?' Now that I'm in Frisco, I'm trying to find contentment without fleeing. So far, it's been a success.

Besides SMITH, I read stories at:

100 words, Found, Literotica

In bed I like to read:

novels -

My favorite story of all time is:

Dreams of Leaving by Rupert Thompson.

Right now, I'm reading:

Roberto Bolano, prose by Sam Shepherd
