If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
...something that was supposed to be extremely easy, but somehow turned into a nightmare for me.
(One example: Dentist performs a root canal on the WRONG tooth (and 2 days later, the RIGHT tooth); I bring him to court with stacks of evidence that he made a mistake (I ended up losing both teeth), and the judge (District Justice) rules against me.
My lawyer told me the case was so easy and obvious... "a slam dunk" were his words... that he didn't want to take my money because I didn't need him.
Figures! This is the story of my life!
