If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
I probably was ranting after having just read another post on Romenesko about newspapers dumping more writers into the unemployment pit. At an age when I should be a Senior Statesman of my profession, instead I'm kaput. Washed up at 45? That's fucked up!
