About me
If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
Since I always (try to) focus on the positive side of life, I do attract positive events. It's ok if you want to insert a "gag me" here...but it's true. So I'll share a positive "story of my life" tale:
While panicking over my future just minutes after getting "set free" (laid off) from my job in high tech, I received a powerful message from God. He said, "This is just a new chapter in your life. You hold the pen, I'll guide your hand, and together we'll write one hell of a chapter."
Those words made me cry...yet started me on one hell of a journey. The journey was so amazing that I just had to put it between covers: "No Experts Needed: The Meaning of Life According to You!"
I hope you have the "coin" to grab a copy...
Besides SMITH, I read stories at:
Since I Google Search the 'meaning of life' phrase, I am welcomed every day with such wonderful articles/posts from the Internet.
In bed I like to read:
Books, books, books
My favorite story of all time is:
I have so many wonderful stories, but I'd have to say that having the 'death bed' conversation with my Dad months before he passed tops the list.
From just a few minutes of conversation, our relationship was healed. And there was forgiveness. I know it may sound strange, but having that closure was the best thing that helped me through the grieving process. And now, I encourage everyone I meet to do the same.
Right now, I'm reading:
A Prayer for Owen Meany
