If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
I would never do that. I don't get exasperated. I exasperate; you can't get exasperated if you're too busy inflicting it on others.

Besides SMITH, I read stories at:
Ooh. I like The Believer. Used to like Zoetrope but the talented people all left there. I read anything JT sends me. Rick, too. I re-read anything I write. Many times. Doesn't help me (or the writing) any, but I keep hoping...

In bed I like to read:
yes. And on the couch, at the kitchen counter, in my car, just about anywhere. Except in the dentist chair. Too busy ripping the covering off the chair arms in fear, so. No reading there.
