If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
Running to catch the bus, only to have it pull away in front of me a split second before I got there. Alternatively, running to catch the bus and having the bus driver seeing me running, waiting for me, and greeting me with a smile once I got on board.
My favorite story of all time is:
"The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" by Charles Bukowski, among others.
