If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
Currently, and for a while now, it would be the constant wait for medical transportation due to chronic health issues and my immense patience and tolerance and gratitude that the service exists at all.
Besides SMITH, I read stories at:
my Nook for PC, doctors' office waiting rooms, and an occasional sneak peak in the grocery store
In bed I like to read:
my mind and try to also read the message my body gives me during a body scan
My favorite story of all time is:
An article on the importance of gesturing in Scientific American Mind
Right now, I'm reading:
Joyce Meyer's Battlefield of the Mind Daily Devotional, and lots of research on the web.
Latest Memoir:
News depresses me. I watch avidly.
- News depresses me. I watch avidly.
- Grandma imparted wisdom. Grandpa imported cigars.
- Mind games always missing piece. Obviously.
- What did you sacrifice for Lent?
- Humor: Only reasonable and customary covered.
- Dear Higher Power, Acceptance came C.O.D.
- Life treated me farely. Took toll.
- Shook breakfast up bit. Made smoothie.
- Like different hiking paths--Trail mix.
- Stuck by guns. Listed bullet points.
- 6.5W. Bunions. Shoe rarely fits. Barefoot.
- Grandma passed. Number still in cellphone.
- Still bit intrepid of merry-go-round horses.
- No calls. Nap. Four calls simultaneously.
- Blah. Made coffee. Forgot instant joe.
