If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
"Haven't I learned this lesson already? Why am I in this place once again and WHAT am I supposed to glean from it this time?" ~ I'd be talking about repeating life patterns--thinking I'd learned from my mistakes and wondering why and what I hadn't.
