About me
Besides SMITH, I read stories at:
Themetropolitan.ca, The Paris Review, The Walrus
In bed I like to read:
The freckles on my girlfriend's back, and novels.
My favorite story of all time is:
I have two: the first is a very short story about a pen and NASA. From what I understand, NASA spent millions of dollars and countless hours designing a pen that could write upside down and underwater. It was a triumph of engineering. The Russians, those crafty buggers, well, they just used a pencil.
The second in One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Right now, I'm reading:
Through Black Spruce, by Joseph Boyden
If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
Words and women. The occasional dip into opium dens; and fables, so many fables.
