In bed I like to read:
Tom Jones. I've been reading about two pages a night for the last year. I own several editions, each one bought in a pinch when I can't find where I put my copy: Tom likes to stay close to my cell phone charger and my laptop power cord.

My favorite story of all time is:
Ooh, that's tough. The story of Curly Oxide is definitely near the top of the list.

If you were to throw up your hands in exasperation and yell "it's the story of my life," what would you be talking about?
Lately I've been traveling a lot and tend to make that proclamation every time I realized I forget to pack my laptop cord or my cell phone charger. Or, I have the computer charger but it's a three-pronged plug and there are only two-pronged sockets. Makes me feel like I could have the world in my hands if only I had 42-cents to spend on one of those plug adapters.
