I Laughed Like a Loser

I was still smiling and waving a minute after he left, until my friend on the phone shouted my name and snapped me out of it.

Let me start by saying that I love "the Spill Canvas":http://www.thespillcanvas.com/. So when I was interning at a concert venue/club in Atlanta, I was excited when I found out they would be there. And as I am also a member of the Spill Canvas Street Team, I signed up for a contest to go bowling with them before the show--which I would be getting into for free, thanks to connections.

I was excited beyond excited when I found out I had won the chance to go bowling. I danced around my house and called everyone I know.

Anyway, on the day of the concert I had to intern, so I went in, but I was bouncing off the walls. During one of our many spontaneous intern breaks, we went outside and were sitting out on the steps. Next thing I know, Nick is walking down from Heaven (that is the upstairs of the Masquerade), and I was just staring at him like a loser. Eventually, when I stopped drooling, we went back inside, and Lauren went to our boss Chris's office.

I had to call the friend who was going bowling and to the concert with me, and while I was on my cell in the smelly intern office, Nick walked by. I waved like a spaz and did my lame "heh, hehe" laugh, and he just smiled and said, "Hey!"

I fell in love. Bowling was...well, I didn't bowl. But he was really nice, and we chatted for several minutes. I told him he was gorgeous, and he petted me. The concert was great, the day was great, and next time I see him, I am going to ask him to marry me.
