U2 Can Be a Star

At the last U2 show I attended, in Boston, the luck of the Irish was with me.

At the last U2 show I attended, in Boston, the luck of the Irish was with me. My date and I were lucky enough to be selected for special wristbands that allowed us to enter the VIP section inside the ramps. Bono, Edge, Larry, and Adam were only feet away.

At one point during the show, I noticed a guy who had walked up next to me on the side of the stage. He looked familiar. It was Paul McGuinness, the band's manager. I worked up the moxie to talk to him over the din for a minute, and I wangled an invite to the after-show. Needless to say, my date was _very_ impressed and more than appreciative.
