ACT-I-VATE

One year ago, A.D.: After the Deluge creator, Josh Neufeld, along with indie comix star Dean Haspiel and Shooting War artist Dan Goldman, helped launch the webcomics collective, ACT-I-VATE. Josh’s The Vagabonds was one of the first strips featured on this free daily online comix anthology. This Thursday, February 1st, meet the creator of A.D.: After the Deluge, and his cohorts-in-comix while ACT-I-VATE celebrates their One Year Act-i-versary at the Village Pourhouse in NY’s Greenwich Village.

A must. Not to be missed if you like what you see here, saw with Shooting War, and love ACT-I-VATE and the cool and badass comic tradition from which they came — and want to see where the future of comics is headed. Plus, there’s rumored to be an open bar early in the evening.
