Jeff Yamaguchi recently blogged about The Stories We Do Not Tell, asking if readers “have written stories or posted blog entries where they really weren’t sure that it was a story they should tell?”

A few weeks later I met Jeff for a drink and he handed me a book about a topic no one seems to want to tell, of if they do, don’t quite know how to tell it. But when 43-year-old successful cartoonist and hipster-hottie-bachelorette- about-town Marisa Acocella Marchetto got cancer, she decided to take on the C-word in the form she knew best: images, with some words around them.
